Geocaching
The world-wide treasure hunt is in Clearview Township! Using the Geocaching app, visitors can find 17 caches at various parks, trails and heritage sites in Clearview Township. Originally started as a Canada 150 initiative, the Clearview Tourism geocaches are hidden from May to November and have welcomed visitors to discover unique parts of Clearview in a fun, self-guided way.
Purple Hills Arts & Heritage Society
The Purple Hills Arts & Heritage Society's mandate is to foster community by cultivating and celebration a broad range of arts and heritage activities in Creemore and the surrounding area. New members are always welcome!

Route Champlain - Be the Explorer!
Clearview Township and the Purple Hills Arts and Heritage Society welcome visitors to explore the Ontario Champlain Scenic Route. France's Samuel de Champlain was one of the first explorers in Ontario and in fact the vast lands that would eventually become Canada. With dozens of historical sites, plaques/places of interests and tourism opportunities along the way, Route Champlain, follows Champlain's great expedition from 1615-1616. All tourism information has been translated into French.
In Creemore, the Purple Hills Arts & Heritage Society have a historical plaque, aptly named "Champlain Slept Here" as part of the Historical Walking Tour of Creemore. This free, self-guided walking tour includes historically accurate information about the founders and influential people that have travelled through Creemore. To read the "Champlain Slept Here" plaque in English and French visit the Route Champlain websites.
Stayner Heritage Society
The Stayner Heritage Society is committed to undertake projects of any nature which encourage and promote the preservation and appreciation of the unique heritage of Stayner.

Clearview Community Theatre
The Clearview Community Theatre is committed to brining all age groups in the community together. The group is a friendly and supportive environment for the creation of high quality theatrical productions with an emphasis on the development of youth theatre.

FALL/SPRING UKULELE TROUPE
We are a fun, welcoming group that teaches ukulele skills, but also enjoys singing and learning new songs, and performing for local groups, such as nursing homes. Please supply your own ukulele. All players are welcome, from beginners to experienced, ages 6 and up, and able to read. Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Members will be placed in a level according to skills.
Fall:
When: Tuesday nights 6:45PM, 7:3PM, 8:15 PM. Beginning September 2024, for approximately 8-9 weeks. We then head to local nursing homes to sing Christmas Carols November/December.

When: Tuesday nights 6:45PM, 7:30 PM, 8:15PM. Beginning January 2025, culminating in our fundraising concert at the end of April. We then take our songs to local nursing homes and perform on a few Tuesday nights in the month of May.
CLEARVIEW COMMUNITY THEATRE OPEN TRAVELLING TROUPE
We are a fun, welcoming group that loves to sing broadway and popular songs in SATB format, and perform for local groups, such as nursing homes. All ages including adults are welcome, no audition necessary, children must be able to read.
When: Monday nights 7:00PM-9:00PM Beginning January 2025, culminating in our fundraising concert at the end of April. We then take our songs to local nursing homes and perform a few Monday nights in May.

We welcome children 6 to 12 years old who would like to perform a mini-musical, and perform for local groups, such as nursing homes. Children must be able to read, no audition necessary.
When: Wednesday nights 7:00PM-8:00PM Beginning January 2025, culminating in our fundraising concert at the end of April. We then take the mini-musical to local nursing homes and perform a few Wednesday nights in May.
