Active Communities Project (ACP)
With the Resilient Communities Fund Grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), the Clearview Active Communities project aims to create sustainable programs for all ages and abilities, expand programs at the Youth Centre, and undertake research and engagement to shape future active recreation opportunities.

Snowshoeing the trails through Clearview Township offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the beautiful winter landscape. The trails wind through picturesque forests and meadows, providing a peaceful environment for outdoor enthusiasts. Snowshoeing is a wonderful way to stay active during the colder months while enjoying the tranquility of nature.

The Active Communities Project presents a hiking and trail walks series throughout Clearview Township. This series is a wonderful way to explore nature and stay healthy at the same time. Participants can enjoy the beauty of the outdoors while getting exercise and fresh air. Joining the hiking and trail walks series with the Active Communities Project can be a fun and rewarding experience for anyone looking to stay active and enjoy the great outdoors.

- Thursday, October 24 - 3k Social Walk. Park at the Clearview Tourism Information Centre, 220 Huron St., Stayner and meet out front.
- Thursday October 31 - Clearview EcoPark Loop. Park at Main Entrance, at 300 Mowat St., N., Stayner
- Thursday November 7 - Nottawasaga Bluffs Loop. Meet at the 8861 Sideroad 15&16, Nottawasaga, near Singhampton. Paid parking only.
- Thursday November 14 - 4k Social Walk. Park at the Clearview Tourism Information Centre, 220 Huron St. in Stayner and meet out front. "Go Blue for World Diabetes Day"
- Thursday November 21 - Creemore Nature Preserve (Mingay Loop) - Free parking. Meet at the parking lot sign. 6th Concession South of County Rd. 9
- Thursday November 28 - 5k Social Walk (Optional: Stayner or Creemore)
- Thursday December 5 - Nottawasaga Lookout - On road parking at Clearview/Osprey Townline. Meet at the provincial park entrance sign.

The Active Communities Project and Clearview Youth Centre are offering a 5km running program for youth in grades 6-12. This program will teach participants how to build their running skills and endurance over time. Students will learn the importance of setting goals and staying motivated throughout the program. By the end of the program participants will be able to successfully complete a 5km run with confidence. This is a great opportunity for youth to stay active and challenge themselves physically.
We will also be doing a HoHoHo Holiday 5km Dec 4th in Santa suits.When: Wednesday, 4:00PM-5:00PM

Short mat bowling is a popular indoor sport that is played on a specially designed mat. The objective of the game is to roll bowls as close as possible to a smaller target ball called the jack. Players take turns to bowl trying to outmaneuver their opponents and score points.

Join us for NEW youth gym night in New Lowell, which includes fitness classes or sports and is a great way for young people to stay active and healthy. This program provides a fun and engaging environment where kids can learn new skills and improve their physical fitness.

Clearview proudly supports the Cybergnomes Robotics teams, including the Cybergnomes Team 2013 and VEX IQ. If you’re looking to learn new skills, gain fun and unique experiences and meeting amazing people. Team 2013 is the oldest registered robotics team in Simcoe County and is made up of students from area schools.
Get your kids off the couch and get them exercising their minds with Cybergnomes Robotics.
